Township Parks by Feature

Bedminster Township’s park system consists of 34 acres of active recreation areas which include playing fields & courts, dog parks, playgrounds and picnic facilities connected via the township’s hike & bike trail.  Our parks are open to the public from sunrise to sunset and close for the winter months from December 1st through March 31st, unless otherwise posted. The Recreation Department authorizes and schedules the use of playing fields and permits are required for organized play or the use of picnic pavilions.

TO SCHEDULE A PLAYING FIELD or FACILITY

The Recreation Department authorizes and schedules the use of playing fields. Permits are required for organized play on Township fields and use of facilities. Fields and facilities are scheduled based on availability, an application process, and the user’s proof of insurance. To schedule a playing field or facility please contact:

FIELD & FACILITY CLOSURES

Our playing fields are closed from December 1st through March 31st, unless otherwise posted. In the event of inclement weather or poor field conditions, the township may be forced to temporarily close the playing fields. A message will be left on our FIELD & PROGAM HOTLINE on (908) 212-7000, Ext. 644 after 1:00 p.m. during the week.

Please note that the hotline is only updated at 1:00p.m. when necessary. We try to wait until the last possible minute to make a determination which we hope you appreciate!.
