Structure Fire

BEDMINSTER On Thursday, June 23, 2022 at about 4:41 PM, Bedminster Township Police Officers responded to 315 Cedar Ridge Road for the report of a structure fire. Upon arrival, officers observed a large detached garage and an automobile fully engulfed in flames. The homeowner had already evacuated and stated there was no one else inside. A preliminary investigation determined the homeowner was using a torch to work on an automobile, which led to the automobile catching on fire, which then spread to the garage and a barn.

A fire fighter from the Liberty Corner Fire Department sustained a leg injury and was transported to Morristown Medical Center for treatment.

Units from Liberty Corner Fire Department, Green Knoll Fire Department, Bernardsville Fire Department, Peapack Gladstone Boro Fire Department, Pottersville Fire Department, Basking Ridge Fire Department, Martinsville Fire Department, North Branch Fire Department and the Morris County Tanker Task Force assisted the Far Hills-Bedminster Fire Department at this incident.

Broadband Survey for Pottersville Area Residents

(Black River Road, Long Lane, McCann Mill, Pottersville Road, Southfield Drive)

Bedminster Township is gathering data regarding broadband availability and interest within the township.  This information will enable providers to know where they should build fiber to improve broadband service.

We have partnered with Plant Networks and FasterNJ to conduct this survey and speed test.  All information gathered will be provided to the Township governing body.  Planet Networks and FasterNJ will never sell/rent/share any of your information with anyone other than the Township.  If a new broadband option becomes available, we will use this information to let you know when it is available.

For best speed test results, you’ll want to use a wired connection if at all possible; that way, you don’t have to worry about interference and performance fluctuations that can occur while you’re on Wi-Fi.
