Bedminster Township has two (2) dog parks for our four legged friends:
- Burnt Mills Dog Park - Inside Burnt Mills Park on Burnt Mills Road approximately one mile from the corner of Route 202/206 South and Burnt Mills Road in the Pluckemin section of Bedminster Township.
- River Road Dog Park - Inside River Road Park at the corner of Routes 202/206 South and River Road in Bedminster.
Each park is approximately a half acre in size and feature secure double-gated entries, waste disposal bags and receptacles. Both parks are easily accessible from their parking lots, open dawn to dusk, and for dogs of all sizes. Water is NOT available at either park. Users are to adhere to the posted rules and regulations.
Bedminster Township Dog Park Rules
- Dog Park open sunrise to sunset.
- Use it at owner's risk. Bedminster Township is not responsible for any injuries you or your dog(s) may suffer.
- No more than three (3) dogs per person.
- Dogs must be leashed prior to entering and upon leaving the leash-free area.
- Users must clean up after their dogs. The Township's "Pooper-Scooper" law applies inside the leash-free area as well as within the park.
- Dogs must display current license and be properly inoculated.
- No food, bones, rawhide or chew toys in the Dog Park.
- Remove all personal items (e.g. chairs, water and dispensers, toys and bowls) from leash-free dog area after each use.
- Users are responsible, at all times, for the behavior and safety of their dog(s). Users must remain with their dog(s) at all times and at no time leave the leash-free area without their dog(s).
- Puppies under 4 months of age are prohibited in the leash-free area.
- Dogs with a history of dangerous or aggressive behavior are prohibited.
