In addition to our in-town offerings, Bedminster Township residents participate in “Somerset Hills Area” youth sports leagues. “Somerset Hills” is a term for a geographic area comprised of several smaller communities in our immediate area (i.e., Bedminster, Bernardsville, Far Hills, Peapack-Gladstone.) Baseball & Softball – Somerset Hills Little League (SHLL) offers baseball and softball programs at various levels of play for children ages 4 to 14 from Bedminster, Bernardsville, Far Hills, Peapack and Gladstone communities.Over 500 children participate in the SHLL program representing more than 350 Somerset Hills families.

Basketball – Each Somerset Hills town offers and organizes its' own in-town basketball program with various levels of play including intramural and league play. Bedminster Recreation offers pre-season skills clinics for children in Kindergarten through 8th grade, Saturday morning clinics for girls sand boys in Grades K - 4th grade, and league play for girls and boys in Grades 4th - 8th. Registration begins in September.

- Lacrosse (BOYS & GIRLS) – Somerset Hills Lacrosse Club (SHLC) "Home of the Mountaineers" provides lacrosse programs for boys and girls from the Somerset Hills area. They offer a lacrosse clinic program for Boys & Girls in Grades K - 2nd, competitive travel programs for boys Grades 3rd - 8th and Girls Grades 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8. - Soccer - FC Berna is a non-profit soccer club in New Jersey offering youth recreational, travel and premier programs to players aged 4 -18 years with total enrollment of approximately 1,000 players. Established as a result of the merger of Somerset Hills Soccer Club and Ridge Mavericks Soccer Club, Berna combines decades of soccer tradition and expertise into a club that offers a program for everyone.
FC Berna is the soccer club of choice for players in Basking Ridge, Bernards Township, Bernardsville, Bedminster, Far Hills and Peapack-Gladstone. Berna also attracts players from surrounding areas including Warren, Harding, Mendham, Long Hill, Berkley Heights, Annandale, Tewksbury and Bridgewater, amongst many others.

- Track - Garden State Track Club (GSTC) welcomes youth athletes in 1st-8th grades from beginner to competitive levels to participate. Coaches are trained in distance, sprints, jumps and throws.
